Aqueous mixture viscosities of phenolic deep eutectic solvents

In this study, the aqueous mixture viscosities of two phenolic DESs, consisting (1 ChCl: 3 phenol) and 4 phenol), were measured at atmospheric pressure over temperature range 293.15–333.15 K. According to data, values viscosity deviations for investigated systems calculated indicate deviating behavior with respect ideality. Both showed negative entire composition all temperatures. The Redlich-Kister model was applied estimate both different compositions temperatures, while behavior, itself, modeled by literature models, Grunberg-Nissan, Jouyban-Acree, McAllister, Preferential Solvation, an Arrhenius-like model. All models presented satisfactory agreement, however Solvation Jouyban-Acree succeeded achieve more reliable results as compared others. addition estimation Jones-Dole suggest interactions in mixture. By calculating analyzing B-coefficients model, possibly stronger among DESs water molecules suggested, self-species interactions.
